Narrative of report:

Witness was a truck driver at the time and was driving through Northeastern Montana.  He had just pulled out from a weigh station on HWY 90 and he was no more than 2 miles from it when he said he saw this thing bent over as if eating something. He said it was kneeling in a gully on the side of the hwy and when it saw his truck it stood straight up with a look of surprise almost like shock on its face. Roland said he went into instant shock but he did say he slowed his truck down enough to get a good look at it and here is how he described it.

He said he wanted to make it absolutely clear this thing was covered in hair from head to toe.  He wanted me to understand that it wasn't fur.  He was very adamant about it. He described its eyes as like ours but there was no glow to them as far as he could tell from watching it in his head lights. He said its mouth was like ours except wider and he did see its teeth and he said the same thing, like ours but bigger but he said it did not have canines, just really big flat teeth like ours. He described the hair being brownish red like a golden retriever but darker. He said he could not see any ears or its hands.  He was too focused on its face and size. I asked him about a conical head or brow ridges. He said no to both. He said it looked just like us except bigger and covered in hair. He said imagine a person a person who lets their hair grow all their life never cutting it except it's covering their whole body and what the end result of that would be. He said that's what this thing looked like as far as its hair goes. About its size he had this to say. He said you know how high an 18 wheeler is don't you. I said yes. He said this thing when I passed it was able to look in my passenger window and lock eyes with me and he estimated it could easily been ten feet tall if not taller because he said the thing gave him the impression it had to stoop a little just to look in through his passenger window. I asked him about its girth and weight he guesstimated that it easily could have weighed more than 300 pounds and its girth from shoulder to shoulder was easily that of 2 large men standing side to side. One thing though that he really pushed me on to believe him on was the intelligence this creature had in its eyes. He told me regardless of whether I thought his story was BS or not he didn't want me walking out of here believing it was a dumb animal that he saw like bear or moose. He said the look of intelligence in this creatures eyes was like looking in the eyes of a very intelligent human.  

I did watch him very closely as he related his story, I do believe him. I watched him get scared and nearly come to tears while telling some of it.  He really acts like someone that has experienced shock of some kind. He says that ever since then he feels like he is being watched especially when he talks about them. He says the nightmares start all over every time he has talked about it. I did sheepishly ask him did he experience any Psychic phenomena while in this creatures presence he said “Hell no!” So I think his sighting was just traumatic for him it spooked him really bad. He said the boogy man was proven to be real that night.

Follow up: 

We interviewed this witness, and found him to be intelligent and credible.  It was obvious that he had been traumatized by this encounter.
