Narrative of report:  

We (man and his lady friend) were  walking up a nearby river that was dry.  It was like walking on a cement highway, just a flat riverbed.  And off to the side, something heavy started walking along with us.  And when we would stop, it would stop.  When we would start walking, it would move with us.  It was so far off in the bushes, we couldn't see it, and thought it couldn't see us, but every time we'd start walking, it would start walking.  It went on that way for maybe a quarter of a mile until the river made a left and it forked and we went left, and whoever it was, didn't want to come out in the open, so it stayed off in the woods.  It wasn't nothing on four legs, but big and HEAVY (emphasis put on heavy).  And every time it would step down it would crush brush and break branches or make big crashing noises. It followed us until we reached the road where we were parked. Both of us were very frightened and I have not gone back to that place since.
