Narrative of report:

While here in (withheld) visiting my wife’s folks, we had an experience that compares to possibly a BF, not a sighting but the sequence of a possible close call. We brought a camper to stay in and just after we had settled in for the night, the dogs started barking and howling, and then went as far back under the house as possible, would not come out, and stopped all noise. Then we started to smell a very acrid smell somewhat like urine but very pungent.  It got stronger and seemed to pass by within minutes and decrease in intensity. Then the dogs came back out but stayed around the house, not chasing the thing as was their usual response. This happened 3 times while we were there, at various times at night. To add more to the mystery, my wife's uncle was laying out traps in the hollow behind the father-in-laws house, when he returned with in a few minutes with a nervous look on his face. He said that the farther he went into the hollow the more he felt like he was being watched. He said it finally got to him to the point he had to leave in a hurry and left his traps there. As far as I know this Vietnam vet has never went back to get his traps. My Father-in Law said that this happened quite often, and had been for several years, but they had never seen anything, only smelled it.

Follow up:  We have interviewed this witness and find him intelligent and credible.  He plainly said he does NOT know if this was a bigfoot or not, as he did not see it.
