Narrative of report:
<deleted> and her boyfriend companion were traveling <location deleted> when their
car became disabled. It was around 1:00 AM CST. <deleted>'s boyfriend decided to walk to the nearest house to call his friends for help. He left<deleted> in the car. While waiting, <deleted> heard heavy footsteps approaching their vehicle.
She reports that it was pitch black outside and she could see nothing. She was sitting on the front seat passenger's side at the time, where she was when her boyfriend walked away. <deleted> told me that the footsteps approaching her sounded like they were from a heavy, big animal walking on two feet, or rather, bipedally. She could hear its heavy, rasping breathing.
Suddenly, whatever it was, began to hit on the side of the car and the window next to where she was sitting. She said, next, the hominoid began jumping on the car and rocking it at times. She was very frightened she reported but felt that she knew what it was as she had a previous earlier encounter with one close to her home.
<deleted> sincerely believed this hominoid to be a bigfoot because of seeing the one before. She reported then that she began to yell at it and told it to go away and leave her alone. She said she yelled at it many times, thinking that it might calm it down and eventually leave her alone. After a while, the pounding and rocking of the car stopped, and it seemed to be gone, as she heard nothing more until her companion came back with help. Nothing more was seen or heard that night and they were able to get their car going and made it safely home.
Follow up:
No description was given of this hominoid because she reported she could not see it very plainly due to the complete darkness. She had seen a bigfoot near her home while out walking with her brother to a friends house one night and insisted that what hit her window and rocked the car was also a bigfoot.
This event of seeing the previous bigfoot had occurred during the same early spring of 1998. She also reports seeing the same male bigfoot near her home at one other time while she walked between her home and her friends home during the summer at night on several other occasions. Even though it frightened her, she said it had never made any threatening gestures towards her as it followed her even when she was with her brother on those nights. Other family members reported that they were also followed at night while out walking in the neighborhood. There were heavy woods throughout the neighborhood although the timber looks small and young. This land had more than likely been logged out before this subdivision had been developed . I have visited the area and verified that this is true.
