Where are the photographs?

There have been sightings all over the world of large, bipedal, hair covered creatures.  They go by many names, but they have been spotted in virtually every state in the US and every country in the world.  This is not a modern phenomenon either; there are historical sightings going back hundreds of years of these creatures.
So why aren't there lots of good pictures of them?  For many years now, virtually everyone has owned a camera.  Today, almost everyone owns a good quality digital camera capable of taking very clear pictures.  Besides this, most people carry with them all the time a cell phone that is capable of taking pictures as well.

Let me deviate just a bit to make a point.
Many years ago, someone brought Judy a beaver that had been injured in the winter, and was suffering from the cold.  She brought it home and nursed it back to full health.  It was kept right in the house, and wandered around at will.  It didn't bother us, we didn't bother it.  When it started eyeing the furniture legs, she decided it was time to move it outside again - but it was winter, and we knew it would freeze if just put out with no provision for shelter from the weather.  Judy called the zoo in Peoria, explained the situation, and they agreed to take the beaver in, keep it indoors until winter was over, then release it into a protected area where it could live in peace.
So we drove up to the zoo, and walked in with this full grown beaver all wrapped up in a blue baby blanket, with Judy cradling it in her arms just like an extra large human baby.  The zoo-keeper looked at this and said "You told me this was a WILD beaver!"
Judy said "Yes, this IS a wild beaver.  We've only had it a few days."
He said "That beaver will BITE you!"
Judy said "No she won't; she knows I am helping her!"
He refused to take the bundled beaver in his hands, but instead had Judy put her down on the floor, where he sort of herded her down the hall to her winter home.
That beaver never tried to hurt Judy because it KNEW she was helping it.
How did it know?
I don't have any idea.
But it knew.

Over the years, this has happened REPEATEDLY with Judy.
And one of these wild creatures has NEVER tried to harm her.
They always knew her intentions.

Why don't we have good pictures of Bigfoot?
Because they know our intentions, and don't WANT their picture taken.
How do they know?
I have no idea.
But they know.

Don't take my word for it.
Test it, and draw your own conclusions.
Go out into the woods with a camera, recorder, night vision, thermal imager, and any other kind of equipment you can get your hands on, and WORK to get a picture, video or recording of these creatures.
After a few trips like this, leave all that paraphernalia home and go out into the woods with nothing but your two eyes.
Compare your results.
